Ordering Procedure:
Calculate how many solar awning brackets you will need. It is based on the length of the run and the distance between the brackets as determined by the span tables. For example a 20’ awning in portrait, with brackets 4’ On Center would require 6 brackets. Why 6? 4’ goes into 20’ - 5 times?? Remember there is an extra bracket on the end at zero. It’s always one more bracket than the run divided by the spacing.
Racking may overhang the last bracket- check racking manufacturer’s spec’s. .
To calculate shipping, we’ll need your zip code of the delivery site and whether there is a fork-lift available onsite to off-load the truck if the order is over 100 lbs.
Submit the number of brackets you’ll need on our , specify Portrait or Landscape, 20, 30 or 45 degrees, Brushed Aluminum or Powder-Coated (specify color from Cardinal Powder-Coating chart Color Chart)
We will return the email with-in 24 hours M-F with your shipping charge, cost of powder-coating for colors and a grand total. We will also inform you if we have your brackets in stock or what the lead- time will be for your order.
Remember, except for single panel installations with 2 brackets, there are also 2 lengths of solar racking & top clamps, and WEEB’s/grounding hardware on an awning installation. Power-Structures can provide ProSolar Racking and Hardware in the Greater Sacramento CA./Lake Tahoe/Reno NV area.(call for quote) You will need to provide the bolts to attach the brackets to the structure and also to attach L feet/racking to the brackets, as well as the sealant for penetrations into the structure.
